How 'Raymond' man Vijaypat Singhania went from riches to rags

Raymond owner and now Chairman Emeritus, Vijaypat Singhania is broke and is living a 'hand-to-mouth' existence in Mumbai. For his deplorable condition, he has only one person to blame - his son, Gautam Singhania

One of the country's richest men, Vijaypat Singhania, who built Raymond Ltd into one of the largest apparel brands in the country is now broke, and is living a "hand-to-mouth" existence, in his own words.
the man who built and nurtured the brand for almost 20 years is residing in a rented row house in south Mumbai's upscale Grand Paradi society.

Shockingly, the man who spent decades dressing up the Indian male blames only one person for his miserable condition – his son Gautam Singhania.

Earlier this week, Singhania filed a petition before the Bombay High Court seeking possession of a duplex in the redeveloped 36-storey JK House on Malabar Hill.
